Hi, I’m Sarah
I’m a content and marketing leader who builds strategies that actually work—because they’re rooted in both data and storytelling.
About Me
The Quick Edit
I have over 10 years of marketing experience. I’m well-versed in web work, email marketing, content creation, social media strategy and execution, brand development and ownership, and mentoring and developing people.
I value transparency and collaboration. French Fries are my kryptonite. I’m a little salty that AI has ruined em dashes for us. Yes, I would absolutely love to talk to you about what you’re currently reading.
About Me
The Long Edit
In my current role as director of content, I’ve led an expanded scope across social media, web strategy, and team development—stepping into gaps, building systems from the ground up, and creating a more scalable, data-driven approach to content. From launching a social strategy that drove measurable growth to leading a user-informed website redesign, my focus has been on turning insight into action and momentum into something sustainable.
The foundation of my work was built outside of marketing and continues to shape how I think today.
I came to this field through a background in creative writing and rhetoric, where I learned how language shapes perception and how good storytelling moves people. I’m also a classically trained singer, and that foundation still shows up in how I approach my work. There’s rhythm to strong messaging, structure behind creativity, and an instinct for when something just feels right. But don’t worry, I’m not annoying about it, and I won’t break out into random singing.
That mix of instinct and intention carries into how I lead. I’m an empathetic, people-first manager who cares deeply about building teams that feel supported, empowered, and clear on where they’re headed. I believe the best work happens when people have both the space to think strategically and the systems to execute confidently.
At the same time, I’m wired to zoom out. I think in systems, look for patterns in data, and ask how today’s decisions ladder up to long-term impact. Whether it’s refining a content strategy, optimizing a user journey, or developing a team member into a leader, I’m always working toward something bigger than the immediate deliverable.
When work is done, you’ll usually find me outside putzing around my garden, paddling on the water, or chasing views and waterfalls on a trail. It’s where I reset, but it’s also where a lot of my best thinking happens.
